You’re interested in working with me? Great! I'm looking forward to meeting you, learning more about your business, and figuring out how I can help.

Before we do that, I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself and the sort of projects I like to work on. That’ll save both of us time by making sure we’re a good fit.

I like to work closely with early-stage businesses that want to take an idea and turn it into a fully functional web application.

I'm good at:

  • taking a general idea for an online business or project and then shaping it into a reliable web application. This often means breaking a project down into all of its features and then understanding which bits are the most critical. I do my best to explain the tradeoffs of adding or removing different features and then suggest faster or more reliable ways to get things done when I can.

  • building a simple and easy to use interface. If you have detailed designs for an application. I am more than happy to follow them. If you don’t know how you want the application to look like, I can help by proposing a clear design that focuses on making the application easy to use. I test my designs with real users before and after they are implemented to make sure that your web application is a pleasure to use.

  • taking care of all the extra stuff like analytics, setting up payment, a mailing list, seo, etc. Rather than having to shop around for multiple freelancer to take care of each part of the process of getting an idea off the ground I can help with all the fiddly details of launching a web application.

The projects I work on have a budget of at least $10,000 and I only work directly with small teams or business owners. I enjoy collaborating with other freelancers but I refuse to work with middle management.

If you’re looking for a partner for ongoing work, I offer retainer packages starting at $1,000/month.

I might not be a great fit for you if:

  • you’re looking for someone to make small tweaks or improvements to your existing web application;
  • you are an agency or another developer looking for a subcontractor;
  • you aren’t comfortable working with a remote freelancer.
